May is the time of year when Koi forum members tear themselves away from their computers and head on down to Cuttlebrook Koi farm for a day filled with superb UK-bred Koi, quizzes, a barbecue and to catch up with old and new friends.

There were vats of stunning Koi on display all throughout the day.

There weren't many who could resist a purchase.
Mark and ran two competitions, with Koi vouchers for prizes. One was a general knowledge quiz, in which everyone performed incredibly well.
The second was a quality competition, with six Koi on display and the task was to put them in order of quality.

Mark also explained his reasons behind putting the Koi in that particular order, so everyone learned a bit more about Koi appreciation on the day.
Thanks go to...
Mark and Lisa, for hosting the day..gif)

Steve, for manning the barbecue.
And Lee, for organising the whole day for us.
