We recently ventured from our offices in Bristol to the fair land of Surrey to visit Lee Burrough’s pond. Lee is a loyal Koimag forum member, moderator and reader of Koi. He is an avid Koi keeper and even has two sizeable ponds in his garden!

The reason for the trip was for us to film his newly converted pond, which was changed from a liner pond to a fibreglass pond. This original pond setup of his was found to be seeping water through the brick walls after a few years of use, so the liner had to go. After lots of hard work, he now has a fantastic, clean new fibreglass finish.

We brought our multimedia wizz kid, Kerry, with us on this trip to ensure that we captured the best footage of Lee’s stunning Koi and ponds. We found his Koi to be particularly friends on this October day and Kerry managed to get some great close-ups!

 After a few takes, Beckie and I finally managed to get our presenter skills into gear to introduce the video. Lee and Steve threatened to work with Kerry to send the funny outtakes in to You’ve been framed, so fingers crossed they don’t succeed!
