Don’t have a pic at the moment but I stacked 3x 25gallon loft tanks and put 30L of alfagrog in each. Running off my skimmer, works a treat.

Re: DIY / Home made showers …
Here’s mine
Made from 5 granite effect planters from B&Q (£12.50 each from the Sanke range)
They sit inside each other so no need for extra supports, just cut out the bottoms leaving a narrow ledge for the filter grid to sit on.
the bottom one has outlet slot cut with a 45 deg piece of plastic for the weir return stuck on with gold lable.
I use an aquamax 5500 at the minute but will go bigger eventually, all pipe work is 2″ from a mid water inlet.
This is used just for extra bio and i can easily remove it in the autumn and put on my grow on pond in the garage as i used flexible rubber boots on all the bends
Cheers Gaz
