It’s awesome stuff. I’ve used it for 12 months and water readings are always 0 even when heavy feeding. I have 13kg in a 5tier shower filtering 1500gal.;)The cost is half that of BHM. Not too sure how it performs without mechanical filtration first. Mine still looks like new but it does have an eazy pod before it. Look on YouTube there’s loads of vids.

Something fishy

I’m ordering some at the minute although have 300l of crystal bio as well so we’ll see if you can spot any difference-going to use the new mini ultra to replace the plastic media in the protein skimmer

Do you know what volume 1kg takes up as I am also thinking of replacing k3 in a protein skimmer, need about 30 litres.
Thanks
Jane

looks good,

thanks Andrew

Hi Andrew

Not tried the stuff but have seen it on u tube etc,,,

After a number of years trying to perfect my filtration i,ve come to the conclusion that my test kit gives me the answer .

If you can feed what your koi want (within reason they are eating machines  ) and you have no water issues perhaps what you have got will suffice ?
