Date 14-15 September 2013 Location Newcastle Gateshead Distance 13.1 miles.

Are there any runners out there in koi land? Do you fancy forming a koi posse to raise money for a great cause? Looking for as many koi keepers/runners as we can get. 13 would be good – then we could each dress up as a koi variety!

Mark,

I’d happily take part, not sure of the fancy dress idea but when it comes to running I’m there!

If former MP John Prescott kept Koi, would he be called “Two Chags”?

Hey thats fantastic news, I have only entered one road race to date and thats the Great South Run. Which charity we going to run for? I was only joking about getting dressed up. Mind you if some one will sponsor us enough who knows what we will do, after all it will be for a good cause. Let’s see who else we can get join us. I better get my application in

I’m open to whatever charity. I’ve a couple of one’s local to me but I think we’d be better off with a national one.
Are you able to secure a team entry via your sources or will you be needing us to do individual entries?

Come on everyone else, put your names down, it’s 13 miles, half marathon. It’s more than achievable with minimal training. It’s not a race, simply finishing is the aim, must be more than 2 of us who can put the effort in.

Any update Mark, I’m in training – well I’ve always been in training but mainly towards a 61 mile fell race in April.
After that a road half marathon will be a walk in the park….if I can walk after the 61 miler.
