I have a few questions about the use of central heating pumps on ponds. I have been told by a friend that his mate uses a Grundfos central heating pump on his pond. My question is are these economical to run on a pond and if it would be any good as i imagine you can get these quite cheap. Also where would it fit on the pond, i know it would have to external but could this be used to run a 1200 gallon pond. I just after as many facts as possible about there use. Does any body run on of these etc?
