Carpy,

Careful where you put your chart, some long time ago I bought a similar chart to help me identify varieties and put it in a shed that was only glazed at one end and where it received no direct sunlight. The colours faded so much that after about six months or so I could state with certainty that kohakus were pale yellow and white koi and sankes were black and a mottled beigy sort of colour :o

If you put it in the conservatory, keep it out of the sunlight, reds fade very easily.

Thats well worth mentioning thanks. I’ve got a mate who laminates with a UV seal, this should prolong the fading (depending what inks been used)!

The A4koi ones are much much better quality and a good size (the others are only A3) but £9.50 for postage !!!!???? Is that a mistake? thats a disgrace if they are charging that to send a cardboard tube in the post.

its not just the cardboard tube the poster is very heavy and in total it not light at all and i only send next day what is signed for and insured .

the cost of the tube is £1,80 alone

and the price i am selling them off is £3 less than the rrp .

if i was to send it by royal mail they want £5.75 second class un insured so add that to the cost of the tube to send it is £7.55 so my next day service is not bad at all dont you think :?:

so before you start saying its a disgrace i would ask why is the post cost that !!!

Im sorry mate but I post a lot of stuff out and your price is treble what I would charge and still have pence to spare. Its a cardboard tube and a bit of paper, it weighs nothing.

Open ebay, type ‘poster’ in the search and have a look. Most are between £2.50 and £3 and a lot are less. You can get a One Direction poster buy it now for £3.50 and posatage is free. Its bigger than yours as well. How much do you think his postage costs if he can deliver a £3.50 poster for free??

well you could always buy a set of 3 posters at a grand price of £84 or individual price of £29
http://www.koilogic.co.uk/store/go/category/15/187

on thes prices the a4koi poster even with delivery is way cheaper ;)

well we are in the rip off briton era . the way i look at it is i can get 10kgs of food delivered
for a lot less. so i for one would not be paying £9.50 for a few posters to be delivered this is where
i would draw the line at you must support your dealer and ebay are now supposed to have a fair
postage policy.

OUCH!!

Personally I would never spend £11 on a product and £9 on postage. If it was £18 for the poster and £2 postage I would but I know damn well that nobody spends £9 shipping a poster so I know I’m being ripped off.

I hate the whole postage issue. I know what postage costs and I know when I’m having my leg lifted. I also know why they do it:-

TAX reasons
Trip up the odd unsuspecting buyer who doesnt check the shipping price
Avoid ebay fees
Make their item appear at the top of the ‘cheapest’ list
Make their item cheapest when searched
