Cheap 1.5″ solvent weld pipe.
Wickes sell 1.5″ (40/43mm) black solvent waste pipe for £1.59 for 1.5 meters.
This is the cheapest I have found by a long way.

Are you sure it’s solvent weld? I bought the cheaper stuff by mistake and then found that the solvent weld was twice the price as push fit.
The website does not say it’s solvent either.

That’s what I thought at first.
They have stickers on saying solvent weld pipe.
Also solvent weld has a larger outside diameter compared to the equivalent pushfit.

Definitely says Solvent Weld on the pipe 
I think it’s either a mistake or their selling it off before they stop selling it. The White Solvent Weld was almost £6 for 3 meters.

wickes catologue says solvent weld white 40mm x 3mts £5.59, waste pipe black 40mm x 1.5 mts £1.59 I would have said it was push fit because black solvent is always dearer than white, on there web site some 1 has asked this question but have had no answer from, on the safe side its smaller than solvent and you can squash it slightley with your hand

from my experience wickes pipe come up a slightly different size(to be honest i usually used the white stuff) id use a merchant,or better still 2″ as the 1 1/2 ich waste pipes bore is small
compare it to pressure pipe and see
or perhaps use pressure pipe,it depends on what your using it on really
