Following on, It only treats 1250 gallons only chlorine at only 1 gallon per minute.
I have the Evolution Aqua Detox De chlorinator it only cost me £59.95 for the smaller one, but it works at 2 gallons per minute, treats 33,000 gallons and also removes Chloramine (as well as other nasties).
They also sell a larger one for £99.95 which treats 77,000 gallons .
You can also go for an even faster flow rate by putting 2 in line so you can then have a flow rate of 4 gallons per minute which is nearly full on!

A lot of the dealers are selling these, I bought mine from Richdon Kois website, but searching them on google and most of the dealers are selling them.

£30.00 for that one is good but I think this one is great value.

Is there anyone else out here using them? as I think they are so simple to use!

I got a 10″ tripple unit (4-5 gal / min) off ebay for £70 brand new! Just so happened that nobody else bid on it and I got it at the start price!! [:)] These retail at about £103 so I was chuffed. Also got a complete set of spare filters FREE which are worth about £35. There are bargains out there.[;)]

Works for me.

RE: Pond Dechlorinator – Water Filter Remove Chlorine

Hi

We manufacturer these ones on eBay and yes, they are mainly designed for smaller fishkeepers looking to do weekly top ups rather than larger pond owners. However, they do work, and we’ve had a lot of good feedback.

A better option is our larger systems on eBay which will take whatever flow you can put through them (up to 30litres per minute). They come out at £69.95 delivered and you only pay £23 or something for replacement cartridges. We estimate their life at 25,000 litres, but that is definitely very conservative – they are a very big cartridge in terms of diameter compared to anything most fishkeeps are likely to have come across.

An added bonus is they are domestic grade, meaning the bigger system can (with a couple of 1/2″ fittings from a plumbers merchant) be fitted indoors on your rising main and filter your baths, showers, taps (even the toilet) from chlorine, as well as your external tap.

We are a well established company of some 20 years (Pozzani Pure Water), and the feedback above is useful – we take product development fairly seriously, and always take comments on board!
